      We often speak as if our body and mind and emotions are somehow separate, when in fact they are all part of an integrated whole.

     While in-depth understanding of a particular aspect of human functioning is of undoubted value, the current tendency towards specialization and drilling into the detail often creates a narrowed focus that can lose sight of the whole person, who is always more than just the sum of the parts. For example, what we focus on affects our mood, which in turn can affect our tension levels, which then affects our sleep, which impacts our energy, which affects our career and relationships and so forth. Equally, our past experiences influence how we act in the present moment and anticipate our future.

    One of the main challenges people face when trying to identify what is negatively impacting their quality of life is that it is almost impossible to have an objective perspective from inside the problem.

    My passion is to help people to identify potentially simple steps they can take to improve the quality of their life in ways they may have been unaware of or have overlooked. As an integrated wellbeing coach, l take a holistic approach, looking at the many aspects of someone’s current situation and helping them identify where simple changes in one area can potentially have big positive impact throughout the whole of their life.
